Tanya Dawn Rochelle was born April 21, 1964 to the late Charles and Jessie Booker and passed away August 31, 2025 at the age of 61.

Some of Tanya’s many professional roles included hair dresser at Just For You and payroll accountant at various places before ultimately deciding to stay home with her family. She was always willing to give her time and energy to others. She spent many days being the class mom or team mom. She was well known for her famous chocolate oatmeal cookies and people loved when she walked through the door of an event with a plate. Tanya and Barry’s home was always filled with kids hanging out and she never even complained about her grocery bill. No matter what someone needed, if Tanya could do it, she would make sure it happened and then some.

Tanya was proceeded in death by her parents Charles and Jessie Booker as well as her husband Barry Rochelle. Tanya is survived by her brother Brian Keith (Sarah) Booker and her children Kyle (Jessica) Rochelle and Kaitlyn (John) Harris. She is also survived by her grandchildren Keegan Rochelle, Levi Anderson, Gage Anderson, Adaleigh Harris, Elliana Harris and many other “adopted” children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be 3 Sep 2025 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and 4 Sep 2025 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM with service to follow at 3:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Centerville, TN. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
