Reed, Robert Joe
Robert Joe Reed was born in Lyles, TN on April 10, 1949 to the late Ruby Lee Turman Reed and Joe Reed. He passed away on November 16, 2020 at the age of 71. Robert was a logger and known for being a hard worker. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting and riding four-wheelers.
Robert is preceded in death by his first wife of 42 years, Virginia Allene Reed. He is survived by his wife of exactly 3 years, Nita Gregory Reed; daughter, Kandice Christensen (Eric); son, Barry Reed; brother, Rickey Reed; grandson, Brandon Tidwell (Hailey); granddaughter, Kayla Sawyer (James); and three great-granddaughters, Alayla, Lila, and Sadie.
A visitation with the Reed family will be held from 4 PM – 8 PM on Friday, November 20, 2020 at the McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County. A funeral service for Robert Joe Reed will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 2 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County. Burial will be in Chessor Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
