Mr. James Franklin Reed left this earthly world on June 13, 2022, at the age of 78. James was born on May 29, 1944, to Paul and Blanche Stockard Reed in Hohenwald, TN. He was preceded in death by his son Andy Reed and brothers Huey Reed and David Reed.

Mr. Reed is survived by his daughters Tammy (Toby) Adkins and Denise (Will) Christian, his sister Shelbie Skelton and brother Rex Reed. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory his grandchildren Jacob (Holly) Adkins, Matthew Adkins, Britney (Nathan) Odom, Rebecca Brackeen, Megan Brackeen, Nastasha Christian, William Christian IV, Daniel (Corrie) Adkins, and Robyn (Lee) Durham; great grandchildren Magnolia Pearl Adkins, Baby Odom and seven more great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Visitation with family and friends will be held in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services on Wednesday June 15, 2022, from 6:00-9:00 pm. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 am on Thursday June 16, 2022, will burial to immediately follow at Napier Cemetery. Brothers Rex Reed and Jerry McDonald will be officiating.
