- Gold Star Veterans from World War I, WWII, Korea, Viet Nam — There is a page for every state BUT the site is migrating to a new server and is misbehaving– so links may need to be updated once the dust settles at their new server location. I have changed the link so it goes to their main page where you can select a state from a drop down menu. Lewis County is listed but the webpage is currently under migration so check back often. The main page seems to be up and running.
- Some county records with every-name index abstracts
- The Stories of Mrs. Eula Gray Anderson and Rosenwald Schools in Tennessee — written by Matthew Gailani, TN State Museun Curator, this article details the Rosenwald School built in Lewis County where Mrs. Alison Gray Anderson taught. Today, the former Hohenwald Rosenwald School still stands as part of the Lewis County Senior Citizens Center. This is just one of the stories told in the Tennessee State Museum’s new exhibition Building a Bright Future: Black Communities and Rosenwald Schools in Tennessee, which runs from June 16, 2023 to February 25, 2024.
