Mr. Thomas Rankin Rasbury, born June 27, 1937 to the late Clyde Rasbury & Marie Graves in Wayne County, passed away peacefully on Monday evening [23 Aug 2021] at NHC Maury Regional at the age of 87.

Mr. Rasbury graduated from Wayne County High School, served in the United States Army and graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a Bachelor’s Degree. In 1959 he married the love of his life. Mrs. Melba Rasbury, someone he loved dearly, and longed to be with after her passing in 2019. He and his wife were devout members of the Kimmins Church of Christ.

He is survived by step-daughter, Patricia (Michael) Turnbow of Signal Mountain, TN, sister, Willodean Weldon, two grandchildren, Scott & Danielle Turnbow, three great-grandchildren, one nephew and several nieces.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday. 27 Aug 2021 at the McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County.

Funeral Services for Mr. Rasbury are scheduled for Saturday, 28 Aug 2021 at 1:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis Co.  Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery on Cathey’s Creek in Hampshire, TN.
