Melba Brown Rasbury, age 86 of Hohenwald, TN passed away on Monday October 14th at the Lewis County Nursing and Rehab. Mrs. Rasbury was born on Cathey’s Creek in Hohenwald, TN on March 18th, 1933 to the late James Brown & Annie Connor.

She spent her life living and working in Hohenwald, she was married to Thomas Rasbury and worked for the Suburban Gas Company as a bookkeeper.

Survivors Include her husband, Thomas Rasbury of Hohenwald, TN, daughter, Patricia (Mike) Turnbow of Signal Mountain, TN, grandchildren, Michael Turnbow & Sabrina Turnbowand great-grandchildren, Robert Turnbow, Michael Turnbow & Anthony Stephens.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother James Brown, Jr.

Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, 15 October 2019 at the McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, 16 October 2019 at the McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County at 1:00 PM with Johnny Clayton and Malcolm George officiating.  Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery at Cathey’s Creek, Lewis Co, TN.
