Tony France Ragsdale was born on December 14, 1943 and passed away at his home in Bon Aqua, Tennessee on May 12, 2023. He was 79 years old.

He is the son of the late William L. Ragsdale and Ellen Goins Ragsdale.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers Reece Ragsdale, James Ragsdale, and Billy Joe Ragsdale and sisters Esther McCuthen and Dimple Anglin.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Joan Givens Ragsdale. Daughter, Tina K. Ragsdale. Son, Tony Scott Ragsdale. Sisters, Giva Marie Beard (Ottis), Peggy McGullion (Bart), Ruth Cushenberry (Johnny) and Brenda Nicks. Brother, Jerry W. Ragsdale. Along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Mr. Ragsdale worked for many years at Peterbilt. He also served in the United States Army.

Tony loved the outdoors. He spent many hours hunting, fishing, and gardening. He also enjoyed making walking sticks and has made many over the years. 

VIsitation with the family will be 16 May 2023 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Funeral Services will be 16 May 2023 at 2:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
