Qualls, Charles Duncan
Charles Duncan Qualls, 93, passed away October 3, 2021, at his home. Mr. Qualls was born in Perry County January 11, 1928, to the late Dr. Wiley Qualls and Birdie Victoria Duncan Qualls. He worked for many years and retired from Dana Corporation. His favorite hobbies included fishing and working outside around his home. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and playing with all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Qualls served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruthie Mae Hickerson Qualls.
Survivors include daughters Teresa Brewer and Pam Qualls; a son, Gary ( Debbie ) Qualls, all of Linden; grandchildren, Amber (John) Whitt, Sabrina (Caleb) Dunkle, Jennifer (Brent) Jones, Whitney (Blake) Moore, Dakota (Taylor) Qualls; great-grandchildren, Jayce and Kaylin Whitt, Mylie and Bronx Dunkle, Palmer Jones, Maxx Qualls, and Wylie Moore; a brother, Glenn Qualls; and many other loving family and friends.
Funeral service was held Thursday, October 7 at Young Funeral Home in Linden. Internment followed in the Qualls Cemetery on Upper Brush Creek Road, Linden.
