Mr. Calvin Chester Qualls passed away January 15,2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center at the age of 89. He was born in Pleasantville, TN on May 14,1931 to the late Ollie and Birdie Ayers Qualls. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Thelma Qualls; his daughter Karen Ann Qualls and siblings Elvis Qualls, Mavis Chesser, Ollie Qualls, Faye Qualls, Doyle Qualls, Floyd Qualls, and Lawrence Elmo Qualls.

Mr. Qualls worked at Great Lake Steel Company for 22 years as a crane operator. After leaving the steel company he and his wife moved to Hohenwald where he began his own backhoe services business. Calvin was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Hohenwald until recently when he began attending in Mount Pleasant.

He is survived by his son Ron Qualls of Hohenwald; grandchildren Rhonda Leigh Shelton and Ronald Lee Qualls Jr., six great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and siblings Wanda Orlando, Steve Qualls, Shirley Leonard, Barbara Leegan, and John Qualls.
