Vicky Suzanne Powell was born in Columbia, Tennessee, on March 9, 1953, to the late Franklin Mitchell and Lovie Jean Blocker Mitchell and entered eternal rest in Waverly, Tennessee, on March 16, 2025, at the age of 72 years.

In addition to her father, Vicky is preceded in death by her husbands Larry Baker and Jacky Powell, sister Patty Lynn Harrington, brother Michael Steve Mitchell, grandparents Cecil and Georgia Davidson, Clyde and Lizzie Mitchell. She is survived by her mother Lovie Jean Blocker, brothers, Gary Blocker, Darrell Blocker , Mark Anthony Mitchell (Cindy), Franklin Mitchell, Jr., sister Michelle Davidson and a host of other family members and friends.

Vicky was a lifelong member of Defeated Creek Church of Christ. She had a strong work ethic, was an avid reader especially of Stephen King, enjoyed working in her flower beds, gardening and was a lover of nature. She loved God, her family and friends deeply. Vicky will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside Services will be held 20 March 2025 at 2:00 PM at Pluckett Cemetery, 3125 Green Hills Drive, Centerville, TN.
