Kyle Wade Pope was born January 2, 1987 in Lawrenceburg, the son of Willard and Brenda Hankins Pope. He was united in marriage to Alex Pope on August 11, 2007.

Kyle was a Construction Foreman for Thomson and Thomson and a member of the Phillips Chapel Church. Kyle departed this life on September 25, 2021 in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 34 years, 8 months and 23 days.

He is survived by the love of his life, Alex Pope; a son, Hagan Pope; his parents, Willard and Brenda Pope; two brothers, Chris Pope (Terri) and Kevin Pope, all of Waynesboro; several nieces, nephews, great-nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Red and Lois Pope; and maternal grandparents, Brown and Pat Hankins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 28, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, September 29 from 10 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Green River Tabernacle in Waynesboro. Robert Gobble and Eric Warren officiated at the service. Burial followed in the Buchanan Cemetery in Waynesboro, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Hagan’s college fund at Wayne County Bank.
