Mr. Eddie Pigue 80, of Centerville, TN peacefully passed away at his home surrounded by his loved ones on September 8, 2022.

He was a native of Nashville, and the loving spouse of 45 years to Mrs. Lynne Pigue. Mr. Pigue was the son of the late James Melvin and Nellie Mae Pigue. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Mr. Jimmy Pigue.

In addition to his wife, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter Tracey Schroeder, his son Jay (Serena) Pigue, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and his brother Jerry (Sandra) Pigue.

Eddie played football all four years of his college career at MTSU. After graduation and for the next 25 years he was a high school teacher and wrestling coach in Nashville. He was dedicated to serving his Lord with his building skills and loved helping to frame churches with Carpenters for Christ. His infectious smile could be seen when entering the doors at First Baptist Church where he was a greeter on Sundays.

Visitation with family and friends will be Tuesday September 13, 2022, from 9:00 – 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church Hohenwald. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 1:00 following visitation.
