Nellie Raye Plunkett Pewitt was born on June 5, 1938, and passed away on December 22, 2024 at the age of 86.

Mrs. Nellie is the daughter of the late Lester and Lena Black Hassell.

She is also preceded in death by her husband Harden Plunkett, son Michael Plunkett, daughter Rhonda Clark, grandchildren Jeremy Bruce, Cory Butterworth, Rocky Clark, and Raven Clark, sister Shirley Hood, sister Patsy, brothers Donnie Hassell Sr., Roy Hassell, and Roger Hassell.

Mrs. Nellie is survived by her daughters Diane Oden, Linda Clark, Brenda Butterworth, and Sheila Coble, brother Ronnie Hassell and Jay Hassell, sister Daisy Campbell, 9 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Nellie loved to go on shopping trips and on those trips, she could always find a good place to eat. She also enjoyed the outdoors and gardening when she was able to. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
