Carol Evelyn “Cookie” Peters, age 77 of Sweetwater, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Bobby Wayne Peters of Sweetwater; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Connie Lee and James Webb of Hohenwald; niece, Amanda Barnes; nephews, Josh and Greg Webb; special friends, Diane Armour, Tammy Saffles, Hazel Smallwood, Mary Ann Tarapan, and Diana Cranfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ella Mae Hicks; and sister, Nona Owens.

Funeral service was held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 25 at Kyker Funeral Homes in Sweetwater with Rev. Clayton Dunsmore and Rev. Robert Jenkins officiating. Interment was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26 in the Sweetwater Memorial Park.

Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, assisted the family with arrangements.
