Dorothy Carolyn Parker was born in Augusta, GA on June 20, 1943 and passed away on October 22, 2019 at the age of 76.

Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an avid traveler, having lived in Germany. She traveled all over the world with her husband, Ralph Parker, during his 35 years of military service. Up until these last few years, Dorothy and Ralph would travel to Yellowstone Park every summer, often spending the precious time with their grandchildren. Dorothy didn’t have to travel far to enjoy the outdoors; her family has said one of her favorite places was down at the river.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Laree Crisler Sims.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ralph Parker; daughters, Rhonda Kimbro (Wayne Sensing) and Karen Deardorff; granddaughters, Rachel Deardorff (Derrick Cloninger) and Tashina Frymark (John); great-grandson, Evan Deardorff; nephews, Ronnie Bell (Sue Bell dec.) and Joey Bell (Krista); as well as many family and friends.

Visitation will be Oct, 24, 2019 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. – Hickman County. The funeral will be Oct, 24, 2019 at 12:30 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. – Hickman County. Burial will take place at Wolf Creek Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
