John Thomas O’Neal, affectionately known as Tom to his family and friends, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, at the age of 82.

Born on August 23, 1943, in Atlanta, Georgia, Tom was the son of the late John W. O’Neal and Marjorie Forrest O’Neal. He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Patricia Dancy.
Tom is survived by his devoted wife, Jackie O’Neal, and their cherished furbaby, Marley, who brought endless joy to their home.

A hardworking and independent spirit, Tom was self-employed throughout his life as a greenhouse operator, where his passion for growing things touched many lives and beautified the community around him.

Tom will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. His warmth, kindness, and love for his family and four-legged companion will live on in their hearts forever.

Graveside Services will be held 19 Nov 2025 at 1:00 PM at Memory Gardens, Centerville, TN.
