Odom, Gennieve Hinson
Gennieve Hinson Odom, 83, of Linden, passed away on August 2, 2025. She was born on May 22, 1942, in Perry County to the late Alfred Earl Elmer Hinson and Delia May Quillen Hinson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Randy Lynch; her sister, Ozel Armstrong; and her brothers, Frank, Huey, and John Hinson.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandi (Arthur) Westover of Cecilia, Kentucky; her grandson, Cody (Emily) Cash of Dickson, Tennessee; three great-grandchildren, Gracelynn, Barrett, and Briggs; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 8th, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. and continue until the time of service. Burial will follow in Hinson Cemetery in Perry County.
