Thomas Johnson Oakley Jr. aged 67, of Lyles, TN went to be with the Lord suddenly on December 2, 2019. Tom was born on February 4, 1952 to the late Thomas Johnson Sr. and Annie Bell Oakley.

He graduated from Hickman Co. High School in 1970 where he was an All State Defensive End for the Bulldogs. He retired from Textron Aerostructures after 35 years but his passion was for cattle farming which he did from 1972 until the day he died. He knew the Lord and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He loved his family and will be forever missed.

Tom was preceded in death by his father and first wife, Patricia Jean Oakley.

He is survived by his mother Annie Bell Oakley Wilson of Primm Springs TN; wife Maria deJesus Oakley; children: Kimberly Oakley of Lyles TN, Leigh Anna (Stephen) Hatfield of Centerville TN, Jared (Jennifer) Oakley of Centerville TN, Megan (Cody) Holland of Charlotte TN, Haley Oakley of Dickson TN; sister Joanne (David) Sadoski of Lyles TN; brother Bobby (Arlene) Oakley of Lyles TN, five grandchildren, several nieces/nephews and many friends.  Family will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held on 4 Dec 2019 beginning at 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.   Funeral Services will be held on 5 Dec 2019 at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Mr. Bill McDonald will conduct services for Mr. Sunder.  Burial will be held in the Warf Cemetery, Primm Springs, TN.
