Noble, Annie Ruth
Annie Ruth Noble, 205 W. Fourth Avenue, died Sunday, September 1, 2002 at the Lewis County Manor. She was 72. The funeral was held Wednesday, September 4, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at Freedom Holy Temple with Glen Floyd, officiating. Burial was in the Warren Cemetery. Mrs. Noble was the daughter of the late Douglas Floyd and Gertrude Penelope Chandler Rodgers. She was born February 23, 1930 in Perry County. She was formerly employed as a housekeeper at the Lewis County Hospital. Survivors include three sons, James Noble and Bruce Farrington of Hohenwald, and Bill Farrington of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; a daughter, Crystal Noble of Lawrenceburg; three sisters, Lois Engil of Dickson; Nell Roden of Nashville; and Jean Byrd of Lobelville; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
