Lawrence Edward Nine, 75, died October 15, 2009 at his home in Hohenwald. Services were held October 17, 1:00 p.m., at McDonald Funeral Home with Clinton Williams officiating. Burial followed in Lewis County Memorial Gardens. A son of the late Daniel Edward Nine and Sarah Alma (Stemple) Nine, he was born July 22, 1934 in West Virginia. Survivors include one son, two daughters, Alma (Tony) Cogdill of Hohenwald, Marlene (Tom) Landini of Taylor, Michigan; one stepson, Tom (Vilma) Smathers of Riverview, Michigan; six granddaughters, Jennifer Rose Cogdill and Victoria (Jason) Cogdill Zimmermann, both of Hohenwald, Danielle Nine, Nicole Landini, and Kelly Landini, of Taylor, Michigan, and April Smathers of Riverview, Michigan; two grandsons, Tommy Landini of Taylor, Michigan and Christopher Smathers of Riverview, Michigan; two great grandsons, Taylor Ray Zimmermann of Hohenwald and Trever Taylor of Riverview, Michigan.
