Mr. Charles “Shane” Elliott Newbold III, passed away on September 22, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center at the age of 65. Shane, as everyone knew him, was born in Owensboro, KY, on June 29, 1956, to Charles Elliott Newbold, Jr & Lois Marie Richards.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Jane Newbold of Hohenwald, father, Charles Elliott Newbold Jr. (Nancy) of Knoxville, step-father, Robert N. Hamm of Knoxville, daughters, Cody R. Newbold of Boston, MA and Martina A. Whitehead of Hohenwald, sons, Luke E. Newbold of Nashville, Zachary C. Newbold of Redding, CA, sisters, Stacy D. Newbold and Shelly E. Newbold of Knoxville, step-sisters, Mary L. DeChellis (Tony) of Fort Worth, TX, Margaret L. Egli of Knoxville, and Sally M. Lane of Knoxville, five grandchildren, Zoe, Eliakim, Wylie, Alisa Jane and Issac, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, 25 September 2021 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County.

Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021 in the Swiss Cemetery beginning at 3:00 PM with Reverend Paul Tucker conducting the service.
