Nerren, Alexander
Alexander “Alec” Nerren of Hohenwald was born on April 25, 1952 in Turkey, Texas and entered his eternal life on June 13, 2020. He grew up in Camden, Texas, with his brother and sister.
His brother, Frank, was especially influential teaching him many things during his life here. His aunt and uncle ran a local hotel allowing his family to teach him the value of hard work when he began as a delivery boy in the company store.
While growing up and in school, Alec played baseball, basketball and then football. After high school he went on to work for the forestry department, where he earned many promotions during his career there. Later he learned carpentry and worked on building houses. Finally, he worked at Walmart, until retiring.
Being an avid sports fan, Alec loved watching baseball and football on TV, and was a Houston Astros fan. He enjoyed sitting down and watching older movies, and Forrest Gump was his favorite. Alec was a big fan of music, but particularly liked old country, like Hank Williams Sr., and even used to play the guitar. As an animal lover, Alec liked his dogs, horses and watching birds.
Any free time he had he would enjoy walking trails, boating, water skiing, and fishing. In the past Alec made some model cars and was interested in remote control vehicles, especially with his grandchildren. Mr. Nerren leaves behind a loving family that will cherish every moment they had together.
