Neeley, Jimmy Ray
Jimmy Ray Neeley was born on March 22, 1947, in Dickson, Tennessee, to the late Lloyd Harvey and Loraine Warren Neeley. He entered eternal rest on April 19, 2025, in Lyles, Tennessee, at the age of 78.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Raines.
Jimmy is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 55 years, Peggy Ann Bradford Neeley; his sister, Donna (Paul) Gossett; brother, Donald Neeley; and a host of beloved family members and dear friends.
Jimmy had a lifelong passion for classic cars, especially his prized 1938 Chevy sedan, which he lovingly restored. Known for his meticulous nature, he took pride in every detail—whether it was in his work or his sharp sense of style and dress. He especially loved his blue jeans. Jimmy proudly served our country in the United States Army.
He and Peggy shared many adventures together, often traveling to Florida and staying active with regular workouts at the Dickson YMCA. Jimmy was a man who loved deeply—his family, his friends, and the life he lived. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
