Ms. Glenda Kay Morris passed away at her home on January 17, 2024. She was born in Grandfield, Oklahoma on April 29, 1942.

Ms. Morris had crafty hands and a zest for life. Her mouthy, yet endearing humor, left a mark on those closest to her. She was a passionate football fan, but her grandchildren were the light of her life. She devoted countless hours to creating memorable experiences with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dee Walker and Lee Walker; her husband, Joe Morris; daughter, Kimberly Sams; and daughter-in-law, Dianne Sams.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Lucky Sams, Zetty (Tim) Ashley, and Teresa (Wayne) Inhofe; her sister, Shirley Hartnitt, grandchildren, Lucas Sams, Shiloh Sams, Jason Finney, Kimberly “Pooh” Sublett, TJ Ashley, Daniel Ashley, Carrie Farris, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Lewis County Memorial Gardens, Hohenwald, TN.
