James Wade Moore, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend passed away Friday March 28th, 2025. Many knew him by Jamin Jimmy, who was 64 years of age, born September 23, 1960.

James was proceeded in death by his mother Katherine Forrester Gossett.

James was survived by his beautiful wife of 26 years Alisha Moore, his two daughters Katherine “KC” Moore and Madison Moore, his 3 grandchildren Kobe Merrow, Izabella Merrow, and AyLeaha Merrow, his sister Natalie Dawson, and brother Bob Moore.

James was an amazing follower of God and loved the lord. James was a fun and outgoing spirit who lit the room with his infectious smile. James was a kind and giving man, one who’d give the shirt off his back if a friend of family needed it.

James was very proud of his kids and grandkids and would often brag to friends. He enjoyed nothing more than to see them grow and flourish into the people they are today.

James obtained his nickname Jamin Jimmy from his love for music and rock and roll. His favorite band being Pink Floyd. James’ favorite activity was to ride backroads listening to his favorite music loud and proud.

Overall, James was an amazing man of God, who adored his family with all he had. James would light up every room he walked into. James is an inspiration to all who knew him and his memories will be cherished forever.

James will be cremated with a Memorial/Celebration of Life for his friends and family to congregate and share all their love and memories for this amazing man to be held 12 April 2025 at 12:00 PM at Empowered Ministries, 119 W. Chrisi Drive, Dickson, TN.
