Claude Thomas Miller, age 59, of Hohenwald, died Saturday, 27 December 2003 at Veterans Hospital in Nashville. Mr. MIller, born 7 May 1944, was the son of the late Thomas Edwin and Ethel Virginia Van Nostrand Miller. He was retired from the the United States Army having served during the Vietnam era.

Survivors include his wife, Shannon Dee Bumgarner Miller, seven daughters, Shawn Marie (Jeff) Houle and Valerie Jean (Dave) Geisinger of Bottenoue, ND, Shandee Ann Hamelin of El Paso, TX, Scarlette O’Hara (Tim) King of Pleasantville, Mary Estelle (Timothy) Giles of Lewisburg, Michelle Antoinette (Chris) Galloway and Claudean Longette Miller of Hohenwald. One brother, Edwin Lewis Miller of Florida and one sister, Barbara Ann (Billy) Baterby of Gloucester VA. Also eight grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, 2 January 2004 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Timothy Giles officiating. Burial will follow in the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
