Beatrice Quillen Meece, 85, died Tuesday, June 25, 2002 in Baptist DeKalb Hospital. She was a native of Hohenwald. She was a long-time member of the Madison Church of Christ. The funeral will be held Thursday, June 27 at 1:00 p.m. in Bixler Chapel of the Madison Church of Christ, with Dr. Steve Flatt officiating. Burial will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Meece is survived by two daughters, Susan Meece and Myrna Shurtleff; a son, Aubrey Meece; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luke McGuiil Meece.
