René Bonville, 65, of Hohenwald, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at St. Thomas West Hospital, Nashville.  Born in Miami, FL on October 2, 1954, to Clayton Bonville II & Barbara (Fidler) Bonville, he grew up and married Rhonda “Roni” Colon Bonville.  Together, they shared a beautiful life. He was a contractor and was self employed.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Michael (Ashley) Bonville, Munich, Germany, Denise (Joe) Sellars, Morristown, TN, Melody (Bill) Basinger, Hohenwald, TN, Lisa (Jonathan) Price, Jefferson City, TN, Michelle Bonville, Morristown, TN, and Melissa (Andrew) Bohanan, Hohenwald, TN;  brothers, Conrad Bonville, Davie, FL, Richard Bonville, Seymour, TN, and Malcolm Bonville, Loxahatchee, FL;    sisters, Rena Newell, Wisconsin and Jennifer Harrel, Spring Hill, TN;  13 Grandchildren.  

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Clayton Bonville and Robert Bonville.

Visitation with the family will begin on 25 January 2020 at 1:00 PM at General Assembly & Church of the Firstborn, 161 Baker Rd., Hohenwald, TN and continue until the time of the service.  Memorial services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn.  

In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that you do so to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
