Nellie Mae Hawkins was born in Centerville, TN on 30 December 1939 to the late Ruthie Mae Anderson and Harold Lee Spahr. She passed away on 20 March 2020 at the age of 80.

Nellie is preceded in death by her son, Richard Bradford.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil A. “Slim” Hawkins; son, Dennis Bradford; sister, Francis Mathis; brother, Jerry Spahr; granddaughter, Erica Carter (Chris); and great-grandsons, Jackson Carter and Owen Carter.

A funeral service will be held for Nellie Mae Hawkins on Sunday, 22 March 2020 at 12:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home. A visitation with the family will start at 10:00 AM and last until service time. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Dickson, TN.
