Linda Ruth Hawkins was born on October 9, 1942, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Charlie and Martha Gray Parris Thornton and died August 11, 2020, at the age of 77 years.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hawkins was predeceased by her husband Kevin Hawkins.

She is survived by her daughter Martha Lynn (Phillip) Miller of Fairborn, Ohio, and son Foster Alan (Nancy) Hawkins of Dickson, and three grandchildren, Bronwyan Gray Miller, Kaitlyn Miller, and Rhianhyn Miller.
