Loveless, Lee Comer
Lee Comer “LC” Loveless, age 93 of Hohenwald, TN passed away from this earthly life and onto his eternal home on the evening of August 24 to be with his wife whom he missed so dearly along with his daughter and parents. He was born on November 12, 1926, in Hohenwald to the late Comer Loveless & Allie (Sisco) Loveless.
He lived on Swan Creek, where he and his wife Mrs. Bonnie raised their family. A minister of Christ, he served numerous congregations, most notably the Gordonsburg Church of Christ. He hosted numerous gospel meetings, performed countless baptisms, officiated numerous weddings, and with his work saved many souls. His love for God and the gospel was truly evident in the life that he lived. A legacy that will live forever. He was also a veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his son, Danny (Debbie) Loveless. 5 Grandchildren, Kim Carroll Buchanan, Bobby Lee Carroll, Andrea (Terrell) Yeiser, Niki (David) Baxter & Kristen Horton (Lance), 11 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Comer & Allie Loveless, Wife, Bonnie (Riley) Loveless, Daughter, Diane Loveless Smith & Sisters Martha Nell Potts & Jo Ann Love Sisco.
Visitation with the Loveless family will be held 27 Aug 2020 from 4:30 to 8:00 PM and 28 Aug 2020 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on 28 Aug 2020 beginning at 11:00 AM at the Salem Church of Christ, Hohenwald, TN with Joe Griner officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Church Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.
The family asks that all those in attendance to please wear a mask.
