Joe Edward Henley was born in Lyles, TN on May 31, 1941 to the late Vicie Breece and Cletus Henley. He passed away on February 22, 2020, at the age of 78. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and he was a contractor for a roofing company.

In addition to his parents, Joe Henley is preceded in death by his sister, Vivian Moran, and his brothers, Bill Henley and Red Henley. He is survived by his wife, Frances Henley of Nunnelly; daughters, Teresa Williams of Nunnelly and Cathy Macdonnell of Michigan; brother, John Henley of Lyles; sister, Sue Muller of Dickson; and grandchildren, Matthew, Rachael, Jennifer, Alex, Stella, and Addison.

A funeral service for Joe Henley will be held on Monday, February 24 at 2:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation with the Henley family will be held before the service from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
