King, Jimmy D
Jimmy D. King of Centerville, Tennessee, was born October 31, 1938, in Crockett Mills, Tennessee, to the late Dewitt and Ruby Harrison King and died August 23, 2020, at the age of 81 years.
Mr. King is survived by his wife of 61 years Carolyn Breece King, his daughter Valerie (Bobby) McCoy of Centerville, sons Gary (Melissa) King of Bell Buckle, and Troy (Maleah) King of Centerville, three grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren. Mr. King is also survived by his brothers Jerry (Patsy) King and Harold King, both of Alamo, half-brothers W. D. King, Billy King of Crockett County, and Bobby King of Steele, Missouri, and half-sisters Brenda Ward of Crockett County and Gayle Scully of Corinth, Mississippi.
In addition to his parents, Mr. King is also preceded in death by sisters Helen Jones and Frances Smothers, half-sisters Opal Newell and Dimple King all of Crockett County and brothers William King of Joliet, Illinois, Bobby King of Crockett County, and Willie D. King of Blytheville, Arkansas.
Funeral services for Mr. King will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville at 2:00 p.m. Visitation with the King family will be prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Mike Goodpasture will officiate the service. Burial will be at Charles L Nickell Memorial Park, Centerville, TN.
