Hattie “Pearl” Duncan
Born February 19, 1927 – Mt. Pleasant, Maury Co, TN
Died April 17, 2020 – Riverview, Wayne Co, MI

Hattie lived most of her life in Hohenwald Tennessee where she grew up, got married and had her children.  She was a graduate of Lewis County High class of 1945 and always enjoyed attending all of her class reunions.

She lived in Herculaneum, MO and then moved to Michigan with her family for her husband to work in the auto industry.  Later in life she lived in Trenton, MI near her son and granddaughter, and then down to Marietta, GA to run an antique shop for while.   She then moved Back up to Gladwin, MI to live on a beautiful lake before finally coming back to Hohenwald.   In 2009, she moved to Michigan to live near her granddaughter and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alma Merritt, her aunt, Gladys Merritt, her husband, Samuel Duncan and three sons, Donnie, Rusty and Kenny.

She is survived by her sons, Douglas and David, of Hohenwald TN as well as her granddaughter, Samantha Duncan Richards (Chris) and her great grandchildren,  Natalie and Rachel of Riverview, MI.

A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, 2 May 2020 in the Downey Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.
