Gwendolyn Loye Shaw, age 76 of Hohenwald, TN passed away peacefully at her husband’s side on 6 July 2020 at the AHC Lewis County. She was born on 11 December 1943 to the late Loyd G. Odom & Melvina (O’Guin) Odom in Lewis County.

She was married to Thomas Shaw and worked as a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Shaw, Son, Harvey Allen Shaw, grandchildren,  Brennan Shaw, Colton Shaw, Braxton Brewster, and Jacob Shaw, and step-grandson, Ezequiel Brewster.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Hollie Renee Shaw.

Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, 13 July 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home -Lewis County.

A graveside service will be held the same day in the Swiss Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN beginning at 1:00 PM with Bill Webb officiating. Burial will immediately follow.
