Freddie Holt, 82, of Hohenwald, passed from this life on Sunday, February 23, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.

Freddie was born on December 13, 1937 to Odie Holt and Lucille Carroll Holt.  He grew up and married the love of his life, Mary Faye Loveless, and they had three children together.  He worked for the State of Tennessee at TDOT for many years.  He was a member of the Pineview Church of Christ.  He was a twin to his brother, Eddie Holt.  Freddie had many, many loving friends, as he never met a stranger.

Along with his wife, Faye Holt, he is survived by Susan Holt, Daughter, Hohenwald, TN; LeaAnn Anderson, Daughter, Hohenwald, TN; Jan Mayes, Daughter, Hohenwald, TN; Eddie (Marlene) Holt, Twin Brother, Hohenwald, TN; Mack (Kay) Holt, Brother, Columbia, TN; Danny (Judy) Holt, Brother, Hohenwald, TN; Jackie (Karen) Holt, Brother, Hohenwald, TN; Polly (Johnny) Edwards, Sister-In-Law Hohenwald, TN; C.R. Baker, Brother-In-Law, Hohenwald, TN; Jasmine (Louie) Chapin, Grandchild; Dane Cotham, Grandchild; Grey Cotham, Grandchild; Casey (Lucas) Dickerson, Grandchild; Micah Anderson, Grandchild; Blant Mayes, Grandchild; Eli, Will, & Ace Chapin, Great Grandchildren; and Rhodes Dickerson, Great Grandchild.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by Betty Jo Holt, infant sister; and Mark Mayes, Son-In-Law.

Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020, from 4:30-9:00 PM, at McDonald Funeral Home. – Lewis County  Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 28, 2020, at 1:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County.  Chet Darden, Bobby Carroll, and Donnie DeBord will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Loveless Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.
