Doris Opal Roder was born April 5, 1943, in Centerville, Tennessee, to the late Loyal Nathaniel Tarkington and Maggie Elise Hassell Tarkington. Mrs. Roder passed away March 1, 2020, in Centerville at the age of 76 years.

Mrs. Roder is survived by her husband Ray Roder, her daughters Janese (Keith) McCeney of Franklin and Dianna Roder of Gallatin, her son Tony (Bonnie) Roder of Hampshire, grandchildren Elliot McCeney, Caleb McCeney, Callie McCeney, Kasey Jackson Allen, Austin Allen, Cole Davis, Abby Davis and Sadie Roder and great-grandchildren Koehn Allen and Jax Allen. Mrs. Roder is also survived by her brother Perry Thomas (Maxine) Tarkington.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roder is also predeceased by her sister Devetta Murphy.

A Visitation with the family will be 4 Mar 2020 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. – Hickman County.  The funeral will be 5 Mar 2020 at 2:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. – Hickman County.  Burial will be at Breece Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
