Danny Ray Green of Lyles, TN passed away Saturday July 18, 2020 after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Helen Sullivan and Arthur Sullivan.  He is survived by two brothers, a sister, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Danny made friends everywhere he went. He was always being silly, and making others laugh. I am one of many cousins and grew up with him being silly. My favorite memory of Danny, that I want to share, is that he taught me my first word. What a memory! I was a year old and of course don’t remember (but it has always been special to me). My youngest son has become fond of Danny in the last year and he has become Danny’s “little buddy”. He has so many funny stories to tell that would make anybody laugh. He had a good kind heart. 

He was like a son to my mother.  She took care of him and sent him to school and she tended to him when he was sick. She loved him and he loved her, his little “Boo Boo”.  He will be missed, but is now in a much better place with no suffering. 

We will see him again one day, and until, then he will be in our hearts.
