Billy Joe Sylvis was born November 20, 1932, in Dickson, Tennessee, and passed away February 19, 2020, in Centerville, Tennessee, at the age of 87 years. Mr. Sylvis was preceded in death by his parents Leonard M. and Ethel Mangrum Sylvis, brother Harry Richard Sylvis, sister Mary Frances Donegan, and step-daughter Melinda Kay Harrington. Mr. Sylvis is survived by his wife Betty Jane Sylvis, sisters Shirley Sylvis, Joyce Sylvis, and Dorothy Rogers, and his nephew Glenn Sylvis. Graveside Services will be held on 21 Feb 2020 at 2:00 PM at Plunkett Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
