Alvin Dale Talley, of Pleasantville, TN passed away on Thursday, January 16 at the age of 69. Dale as he was known, was born in Hohenwald to the late Ernest Ray Talley & Ruby Quillen. He worked as the maintenance supervisor for Camp Nacome for 43 years. He preached at the Lower Sulphur Church of Christ and the Byers Chapel Church of Christ, until his failing health no longer allowed him to. His family stated he worked most of his life, and during the summer when he wasn’t working he was mowing yards. He loved watching sports and loved the Lone Ranger and Andy Griffith.

He is survived by Daughter Angela (Jerry) Bennett of Pleasantville, Brother Terry Talley of Linden and Brother Larry Talley of Centerville, a son who he always called his adopted son Matt Mastre and a cat named Baby Girl.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by wife Kathy Runions.

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday night from 4:30 P. M. to 8:00 P. M., Sunday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 P. M. and Monday from 8:00 – 11:00 A.M. at McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM at McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County with Jerry Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in the Bastin Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.
