Boy, Boy, Boy….

John Gregory McCord better known as “Greg” was born on January 10, 1957 in Centerville, Tennessee and passed away on April 27, 2022 at his home in Nunnelly. He was 65 years old.

He is the son of “Bill” Wilbur J. McCord and Martha Ann Owens McCord.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Greg is survived by his mother. His wife Karen Hollett McCord of Nunnelly. Son Michael (Kayla) McCord of Cookeville. Daughter Jana (Hunter) Buttrey of Dickson. Grandchildren: Callan, Adilene, Henley Pearl, Amalie, and John Scott. Brothers Randel McCord of Centerville and Russell McCord of Murfreesboro. His four legged companion of 15 years Packer. Along with many other relatives, friends, loved ones, and people that he has impacted along the way.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Camp Meribah or to the Pinewood Church of Christ. Donations can be dropped off at the office of McDonald Funeral Home or the Centerville Church of Christ.

The family kindly request that those in attendance wear a mask while visiting.

Visitation with family will be 30 April 2022 at 2:00 PM  at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County and 1 May 2022 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the Centerville Church of Christ, Centerville, TN.  Funeral Services will be held 1 May 2022 at the Centerville Church of Christ at 2:00 PM with Burial to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
