Eloise Adcox McCord, Wedgewood Avenue, Nashville, died Sunday, June 16, 2002 at Baptist Hospital. Mrs. McCord, 83, was born March 11, 1919, in Hickman County. She was the daughter of the late Elbert Murray and Esther Jane Mann Adcox. She was a homemaker. The funeral was held Tuesday, June 18 at 2:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home with Ministers David and Jimmy Adcox officiating. Burial was in the Swiss Cemetery. She is survived by a daughter, Beverly (Charlie) Campbell of Columbia; three grandsons, Chuck Campbell of Stowe,Ohio, Van Campbell of Birmingham, Alabama, and Tom Campbell of Franklin; and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, everett “Buck” Wesley McCord, and a brother, James Murray “Tookie” Adcox.
