McClellan, Bob Charles
Bob Charles McClellan passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on May 25, 2022.
Born on February 7, 1950 in Grand Junction, Colorado. Moved around the southwest Four Corners area and grew up in Moab Utah. He attended The University of Utah until being drafted in May of 1970. Served until he was discharged in 1977. Lived in Colorado until moving to Tennessee in 1988 to begin employment with the United States Postal Service and retired 2 years ago.
Bob loved photography, gardening and bird watching, especially hummingbirds.
Preceded in death were his parents, Charles and Laura Faye MClellan and his beloved niece, Jennifer Jones.
Bob is survived by wife Deborah, son, Ian McClellan, daughter, Cassidy McClellan, stepchildren, Lawrence, Nick, and Catherine Bianco. He was blessed by three wonderful daughters- in-law, Samantha McClellan, Karolyn Bianco and Christine Bianco. His sisters, Londa Porenta and Judy McClellan, both from Green River, Wyoming.
He is also survived by the mother of his children, Peggy McClellan, granddaughter, Carly McClellan, great-granddaughter, Oaklynn Joy, granddaughter, Ivy Sage McClellan, grandsons, Clay McClellan, and Daniel Bianco.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dogwood Project, a fund at the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, 3833 Cleghorn Avenue , Nashville TN 37215 that helps children deal with loss of a parent or close family member.
