Mary Carolyn McClanahan was born on October 27, 1925, in Pinewood, Tennessee. She passed away on December 6, 2019, at Life Care of Centerville. She was 94 years 1 month and 10 days old.  She was the daughter of the late Charles Thomas Cash and Hortence Spence Cash. 

She was preceded by her husband, William Hunt McClanahan, son ,Spence McClanahan, brother, Charles Thomas Cash and sister, Jean Cash Russell. 

She is survived by her grandson, Tommy McClanahan of Centerville, great-granddaughter, Sarabeth McClanahan of Centerville; great-nephew, Stephen Graham of Lyles, great-niece, Stephanie Graham Warren of Centerville. As well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones. 

Mrs. McClanahan was a member of the Fairfield Church of Christ for over 70 years. 

She and Mr. Hunt McClanahan were wed on April 6, 1947. They were married for 35 years until his passing. 

She worked as a secretary to Mr. Hunt while he was a judge here in Hickman County.  Mrs. McClanahan enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed her time with her great-granddaughter, Sarabeth. 

Visitation will be held on 8 Dec 2019 beginning at 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.   Funeral Services will be held on 8 Dec 2019 at 1:30 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Mike Kelley is to officiate services..  Burial will be held in the Petty Cemetery, Nunnelly, TN.
