J. D. McCann, age 75, born July 27, 1929 in Hohenwald, TN, died September 22, 2004 at his residence in Hohenwald, TN.  The funeral will be held at McDonald Funeral Home Inc, September 25, 2004 at 1:00 PM.  The officiating clergy will be Jessie Plunk.  Burial will take place September 25, 2004 in the Swiss Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN,  Visitation will be Friday, September 24, 2004 at 5:00 PM.  Survivors include sons, Jimmy, Garry, and  Terry McCann;  daughter, Linda Spurgeon;  brothers, Edward McCann, William McCann, Gene McCann, Jerry McCann, Joe McCann;  sisters, Mosetta Hinson, Betty Jones, and Evelyn Keeton;  9 Grandchildren;  8 Great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy May (Baxter) McCann, parents, Buford and Camilla (Stutts) McCann, brothers, Kenneth McCann and Thomas McCann, grandson, Jonathan McCann, and Granddaughter, Glenda Spurgeon.
