Edward Walton McCann “Pawpaw Ed”, 85, of Hohenwald, TN, passed on Thursday, September 5, 2019, at the Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was born on November 14, 1933, in Hohenwald to Buford and Camilla McCann. He was married to Lou McCann. He was a logger for many years.

He is survived by sons, Mark McCann (Tracy) of Hohenwald, TN and James McCann (Kelly) of Lobelville, TN, daughters, Alisa Kirby (Ralph) of Hohenwald, TN and Melissa Jackson of Hohenwald, TN, brothers, William McCann (Helen) of Hohenwald, TN, Jerry McCann (Gloria) of Hohenwald, TN, and Joe McCann of Hohenwald, TN, sister, Evelyn Keeton (Steve) of Hohenwald, TN, 12 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Camilla McCann, wife, Lou McCann, brothers,  J.D. McCann, Gene McCann, Tommy McCann, and Kenneth McCann, sisters,  Mossetta Hinson and Betty Jones, great-grandchildren,  Trenton Devore and Trayton Isbell.

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 5:30 PM at McDonald Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM, also at the McDonald Funeral Home.   Entombment will follow in the Lewis County Memorial Gardens, Hohenwald, TN.
