Barbara Ann Mauss was born on September 2, 1943 in the Little Lot Community of Hickman County and passed away on September 21, 2022 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She was 79 years old.

She is the daughter of the late Lonnie Fleet Smith Sr. and Narvie Eurene Potts Smith.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Todd Mauss, and siblings, Shirley Hooper, Lonnie Fleet Smith Jr. and Ronald Eugene Smith Sr.

She is survived by her husband, Edwin Eugene Mauss of Murfreesboro. Daughters, Stephanie Mauss of Nashville and Gina Blythe of La Vergne. Grandchildren, Matthew Feldman, Michael Blythe, William Price, and Brianna Mauss. Along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Mrs. Mauss was a hairdresser at Castner-Knott Department Stores before becoming a full time mother. 

Graveside Services will be held on 1 Oct 2022 at 1:00 PM at Potts Cemetery, Kirby White Road by Natchez Trace, Santa Fe, TN.
