Mrs. Lorene Mathis, 73, of Linden, TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia.

Lorene is survived by her husband, Wayne Mathis of Linden, TN, son, David Mathis of Hohenwald, daughter, Amanda (Phillip) Brown of Linden, TN, grandchildren, Sam Brown, David Mathis, Jr., and Hannah Mathis, and one great-grandchild, Hudson Laws.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Grant Felner Hinson and Clovia Irene Brewer Hinson, brother, Glen Hinson, and one great-grandchild, Alaina Laws.

Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2022, from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel – Lewis County.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel in Hohenwald. Garlan Broadway and Dennis Abernathy will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hinson Cemetery in Perry Co, TN.
