Bessie Ann Mathis was born July 30, 1935, in Buckhannon, West Virginia, and died December 13, 2019, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Mrs. Mathis was preceded in death by her husband Grady Mathis, her parents Ellsworth “Boots” Smith and Leota Moore Smith, her sister Kathy, and her brothers Harry and Tony.

Bessie is survived by her daughters Dawn (Jose) Espino and Krysti McKee and her son Grady Dale Mathis. She is also survived by her sisters Dottie, Vivian, and Vera, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN at 11:00 a.m. Devin Pickard will officiate.
