Gloria Dawn Martin was born in Danbury, CT on November 4, 1946 to the late Mary Simalovich Tynanes and Michael Tynanes. She passed away on October 7, 2021 at the age of 74.

She loved Tunica, traveling, and Hawaii. She enjoyed cooking for her grandkids and the rest of her family. She was also an avid gardener and canned what she grew.

In addition to her parents, Gloria is preceded in death by her sister, Jeanette Oldham. She is survived by James Martin; daughter, Tammy Martin of Bon Aqua; sons, Steve Martin of Bon Aqua and Danny Martin (Tonya) of Waverly; sister, Sandy Noe of Danbury, CT; brother, Michael Tynanes of Honolulu, HI; grandchildren, James (Elizabeth), Katelyn (Nate), Michael (Sydney), Chelsea, William, Brandon (Summer), Nicole; and great-grandchildren, Elena, Noah, Paisley, and Keiran. Two more great-children are on the way.

A visitation with the Martin family will be held on Saturday, October 9 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.
